Week 47/52: Ribbon Noodles with Mushroom Cream Sauce

Hungry? Try this: ribbon noodles with mushroom cream sauce. It is quick, super yummy and the best against this return of the winter that is throwing itself between me and spring. And you don't need to rush out to buy a ton of ingredients, always a plus.

You need:
ribbon noodles, about 300 g or as much as you want for two
1 onion, chopped
3 slices of bacon, cut into stripes
1 Tsp butter
300 g mushrooms, sliced
200 ml cream
salt, pepper and a tablespoon of parsley

How to:
Cook the ribbon noodles and set them aside.
Fry the onions and the bacon bits in butter.


Slice the mushrooms.


Then add the mushrooms and allow them to fry for about 3 minutes.


Add the cream and season with salt, pepper and parsley. Let the sauce cook for 2 minutes.


Add the ribbon noodles and heat everything thoroughly.


How could life go on without a salad on the side?


I was surprised at how quickly we were not so hungry anymore. The dish does not take longer than reading this post if you take 18 minutes to admire my photos and I can imagine that there are tons of things to add for variation. My tip: prepare the salad before getting started with the rest. Else life might become a bit hectic in the end.

  1. Ich empfehle einen Schuss Weißwein in die Sauce und Rosmarin statt Petersilie :)! Sieht aber trotzdem lecker aus...
