Last year, I was quite successful with both apricots and amaretto as well as oranges and whiskey. But the success may have been due to the amount of alcohol and not the housewifely touch of it all. Yes, I can be that honest with myself.

However, I would love to make some strawberry jam (so far they have always successfully begged to be eaten right away) and blueberry jam. And maybe use plums and cloudberries and blackberries and cherries and I could even make some fig vinegar. Or try that lemon curd recipe. Or make some apple butter. That would even put a check behind most names on that Christmas presents list.
This weekend, however, I am too lazy to get out and buy fruit, so you'll have to wait for another while.
